Our mission resonates with the profound teachings of both the Quran and the Bible, emphasizing the importance of honoring parents, especially mothers, and caring for orphans.

In the Quran, Allah says, “And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], ‘uff,’ and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word” (Surah Al-Isra, 17:23). Similarly, the Bible teaches, “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you” (Exodus 20:12). RememberYourMother.org embodies these teachings, fostering a community where respect for mothers and compassion for the motherless are at the heart of our actions.

Our commitment extends to embracing the motherless. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise,” showing his forefinger and middle finger by way of illustration (Sahih Bukhari). The Bible echoes this sentiment: “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction” (James 1:27). We strive to be a source of support and love for orphans, offering them the care and affection they deserve.
